The CABPES Math Enrichment Program (MEP) is designed to foster a love for mathematics among young learners by providing them with the skills and confidence to excel.
Our program is constructed for students in grades 5-12. It offers a dynamic curriculum that goes beyond the standard classroom experience.
The fall MEP program begins on Monday, September 8, 2025 and runs on Mondays and Wednesdays, from 6 to 8 p.m.
MEP emphasizes problem-solving, critical thinking, and real-world applications of math. Goals include:
Strengthening core mathematical competencies and introducing advanced concepts.
Fostering a growth mindset by encouraging students to develop a positive attitude towards learning and overcoming challenges in mathematics.
Enhancing problem-solving abilities by equipping students with strategies to tackle complex mathematical problems.
Promoting collaborative learning via group activities and projects.
Making math enjoyable and relevant through real-world applications and creative projects.
