RULES

 

  1. Student must be committed and willing to learn.
  1. During program hours, every student must always be working.  If not performing his/her work, then helping another student with his/her work or doing an extra assignment given by the Advisor.
  1. No food or drink allowed in classroom only in the break area.
  1. MEP and JETS hours will be from 6:00 to 8:00 PM.  SAT hours will be from 6:00 to 7:30 PM.  There will be a scheduled break between 6:45 and 7:15 PM.
  1. Students who arrive at class after 6:05 PM will be counted tardy and/or absent.  Parents of students who arrived to class after 6:15 PM will be notified of student’s late arrival.  Consistent late arrivals to class will result in disciplinary actions.
  1. No students are to leave the premises during the CABPES session without prior notice.  Parents must notify the Program Director if a student needs to leave before the end of the class. 
  1. Advisors, Tutors, Staff and CABPES visitors will be treated with respect.
  1. Fellow students will be treated with respect.
  1. Students must use the stairs unless they provide a doctor’s excuse explaining why they are unable to climb stairs.
  1. Two (2) unexcused absences of the JETS program is considered unacceptable, and will result in disciplinary actions and possible termination from JETS programs.
  1. The following is considered unacceptable behavior and will result in disciplinary action:
    1. Abusive or foul language, acts of violence such as fighting or hitting.
    2. Willful destruction of CABPES property or the property of a CABPES participant.  This includes stealing and defacing the walls.
    3. Fighting, hitting, and disruption of the class.
    4. Disruptive conduct during a field trip or a meeting.
  1. Students that access inappropriate internet sites not pertaining to the current work of the class will be held accountable for their actions resulting in disciplinary actions and parents of the student will be notified.

Application Rules
Welcome to the CABPES Registration Section. All the forms that you need to register for CABPES programs are in this section. To register, you must print the forms, complete them and mail them with the appropriate fees.
Scholarships
Proceeds from the Annual Awards Banquet provide scholarship funds for graduating seniors who are pursuing college studies in engineering or science.
