Mission

The purpose of this Association is to stimulate and develop interest within elementary, junior and senior high school, and college students, from Black, and other minority communities, in pursuing engineering, or applied science, as a career profession; to promote and protect the interest of Black and other minority engineers and scientists; and to direct minority interests toward united action for improved community and civic conditions.

Goals and Objectives


Goals in Serving Student Members
bullet Stimulate interests among under-represented youth to pursue careers in engineering and applied science.
bullet Develop solid math skills essential for success in these careers.
bullet Inspire higher academic achievement among under-represented students through professional role models and mentors.
bullet Provide exposure to cutting-edge technologies
